Hey guys,

Been here for a while and thought I might start posting at some point. These are some photos from my first wedding. Weddings and portait shots of this kind is new to me so that's my explenation to why they look quite dull and standard.

Would love to hear what you guys think!

Here's a link to a set with more of the photos -> http://www.flickr.com/photos/afflaf/sets/72157622482590930/

Thank you guys! :) They're on their honeymoon in Tunisia at the moment so I can't wait to see what they think about them.

Six is really funny, they look like a fun couple. I don't think as a whole they're bad, but your color is all over the map and really flat and kind of desaturated.. are you saving in the proper colorspace? sRGB for web.. make sure you're not in Adobe..

Although I understand that you may be trying to correct some color temperature issues on the subjects' skin, please be careful about making them look pale grey (such as in 1, 5, and just the groom in 6); that may not be the preferred color.

the last one is awesome, 3,4,5,6 is excellent.

#1 and #2 I don't get however, IMHO I thought #2 is best done with close up and isolated, maybe with 70-200 @ 2.8, and #1 could've been taken from directly behind the couple..??

White balance seems off on all of them - too cold/green.

6 (the photo, not Number 6, as in, "I am not a number...") suggests they'll last a year or they'll last to the end. If she likes 6, they might actually make it. Nice set of photos, btw, specifics identified by others notwithstanding.

(We just hit 25 years of Wedded Bliss. She hasn't killed me yet. :D)

While editing most of the shots I never actually thought about giving them a "natural" look. That's the main reason to why most of the shots got a pretty off WB.

looking back at the shots now I'm probably gonna go through them again and try to give them a more natural look. The couple might even enjoy them more that way.. :)
