Hello Brand New looking for some C and C!

Hi...Brand new to the forum, I only have a Cannon XSI, got it 3 months ago. I edit with Elements 6.0 and Picasa.
I have done about 8 sessions with friends and family and am curious what you think please:

You captured some excellent moments here. The second one reminds me of one of those commercials where the babies are talking to each other. What great expressions! The white balance in the first one seems a bit too amber, but that's a minor detail. Great compositions.

I like the idea you are aiming for in image 1, perhaps add a bit of blue filter and brighten it to make it more white or if possible while in raw change your WB.

the first is making me dizzy and the second is really bright.
i think the images would've been fine enough without the post processing.
