Hi guys,

I have a question about improving the viewfinder quality on the 20D. I was wonder if there is an add on piece for the 20D where it could increase the viewing size of the 20D view finder. I am aware that theres an angled viewfinder add-on for the 20D, but i want something that is not angled.

Also I noticed that there is a rubber cup addon called the Ed-E for older film EOS cameras. Is there one that fits the 20D? I tried the Ed-E and it wouldnt fit on it. Maybe I was putting it on with the wrong method.

Thanks for reading, hope you guys can help me out!

If you increase the viewing size, you unfortunately make the image less bright. Don't know if what you're after exists or not, no idea. I tried the eyepiece extender, it halved the image size and made it unusable IMHO, I wonder if the opposite would be true for what you're after. Lenses with a wide maximum aperture would help.

I use the eyepiece extender combined with the rubber eyecup from my A1. In fact, I have 2 eyepiece extenders, one stock and one with the lens removed for when I want a larger view but so far I haven't needed it.

I've seen A1 eyecups on Ebay.

My 20D manual lists a Eyepiece Extender EP-EX15.
