This house was starting to fall into disrepair, when a local business man bought it did a full restoration on it and made it into a museum. It must have been a grand home in its day

looking up the front walk. the metal flower statues on either side of the walk are made by a local contractor out of old construction pieces and other metals he can find. He's very talented. least you never have water those flowers

Very nice, Sandy. That is quite a manor. I would have thought the view in the second shot was the side entrance, rather than the front.

One would easily think that, yet the house sits on the (behind) the Windsor, CT town green and the Potico and walk in the second photo face the road. the third floor, where the pavilion like roof is, also has a grand ballroom. Must have been a great place to party.

Thanks Marie, Yes he did a wonderful job on the restoration. The man that bad the metal flowers has his sculptures all over town, I'll see if I can get a few more photos of some of them.

Nice exposures! I particularly like the oblique angle you chose for the first shot. I'd say you made your subject even more beautiful through use of your photographic talent.
