I have the 1Ds mkII and would like to find some more info on Canon's Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E1 and if I can use this with a apple ibook with a air port card on location. This is about the only info I have found so far.

Canon Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E1
For model EOS-1Ds Mark II and OES-1D Mark II.

To add the performance and flexibility to the EOS-1Ds MK II, the WFT-E1 Wireless File Transmitter enables wireless transmission of images. The WFT-E1 attaches to the bottom of the EOS-1Ds MK II and enables images to be sent to an FTP server via wireless IEEE 802.11b/g LAN or wired ethernet LAN.

Images can be automatically transferred immediately or it's possible to select multiple images and transfer them after shooting.

Any help is welcomed - Thanks

I, too, would like to see a "White Paper" on this device: use, setup, protocols, etc. Anybody use one? Anybody know where there is some specific information? I haven't turned up anything with Google.
