C&C

Hi,

I think this is my first post asking for C&C. I just got a new lens (24-70L), and a softbox for my 580EXII. Single softbox, off-camera to the left. This is my son, 6 months old, in his pjs, right before bed.

I'm still learning, and I just placed my order for the Strobist DVD set. I figured that the cost of that knowledge would do more to improve my photography than a third speedlight. So, the third speedlight will wait.

I like to composition, eyes are just a bit soft or OOF to me.

Thanks AliinDXB. Shooting portraits of kids is almost like shooting sports since they move around so much. That might explain the softness that you see in the eye, but it's a little sharper in my RAW file.
