Ya i already have the index card and rubber band,, but it seems kinda clumsy.. no? I was looking for something more subtle looking. The stofen ones look good but they're kinda expensive. There are similar ones available on ebay for $1-$5. I was wondering if anyone tried some of those "cheap" ones lol.

I've used various Tupperware, and found them all to be about the same. I changed to a Lightsphere Cloud and noticed a slight improvement on the lighting. ... Probably attributable to the larger head.

For conventional Tupperware, the only real difference I noticed was how well it "fit" the flash. Some were nice & snug, and others were not.

As far as the Lightsphere, I still use it occassionally, but it's so much bigger that it draws a lot of looks from people. I guess that's the tradeoff for a larger diffused light source. (But it still drives me crazy).

The thing about the LS, it's too heavy for the flash head.

Yeah, I ended up breaking two off brand off camera cords trying to use the light sphere.

I would choose the real deal Stofen over the cheap ebay ones. What is $16 for a quality product that fits well?

They dont provide any better function than a similar one that cost $4. My off brand fit perfectly, a 1/4 the price. But the more apt discussion is that they dont really do much when you actually use them.
