Hello all,

I am in need of rescuing a bunch of photos I accidentally deleted off one of my Sandisk Extreme Compact Flash cards. I cannot find the serial number anywhere (checked the sleeve) and I do not know how to open the program in a word editor to search for a serial #. I contacted Sandisk but they haven't been very cooperative, asking all sort of information that I cannot give them (date of purchase, vendor, etc etc...it was a while ago!). So...my question:

Is buying a new compact flash from Sandisk the ONLY way to solve this problem? Formerly whenever I needed a serial, there was a site that gave them out for many different products to avoid this situation. I'm not having any luck now searching, however...

Here is a freeware program that I have found works great in getting files back on my Sandisk cards that I accidentally deleted
PC Inspector File Recovery <--click to see (http://www.pcinspector.de/default.htm?language=1).

The number is on a sticker on the back of the sleeve. If there isn't one, maybe you if you email them a copy of the sleeve as proof, they will tell you.
