Three babies all arrive at the same time which is perhaps one more than the feeder can support!

One of the parents arrives to try to get some of the action but the babies successfully hold their ground.

So the parent decides to do a remarkably successful impression of a hummingbird in order to get some food.

And finally my favourite one of all I uploaded to my gallery:

All taken with the 300D and the 400mm f/5.6L at f/5.6. Hope you like them, comments welcomed of course.

Oh yes excelent shots, and yes the third one is the best, you could'nt have captured it any better.

Question for you though, how have you uploadedthree shots at once, i can only manage 2 at a time?

Wow, fantastic and beautiful photos.

A little shame about the watermark on the last one though. But I gues it may be because the last is hosted on shutterpoint and the 3 first on Your own server?

He is linking to a different server as opposed to upload it as attachments on the POTN server.

I apologise for the central watermark on the last one, I'm sure you understand the reasons why I have to do it.

Great shots.. I've never seen starlings at my feeders.. But there's something in my lawn the LOVE :) There are always a few pecking away at the ground...

I really like the 2nd one. They look like they're doing a dance on the feeder. Good contrast on the birds and great position of the darker bird's wings against the yellow background. It's composed the best to me.
