Monitor aspect ratio

What's the ideal monitor aspect ratio for Photoshop, is it 16:9 or 16:10?

Is this a trick question? I've never really thought about it, but the only reason I can think that it would matter is if you watch a lot of HD TV (16:9). The most important thing is to stay at native resolution. 16:10 is the most common aspect ratio though; like 4:3 in days of old. In my book, more pixels, bigger screen and native resolution are key + having a second monitor is indispensable IMO.

16:9 is 32x18, 16:10 is 8x5, 4:3 is 4x3.... none is really an optimal layout for photo....

That said, if it's your primary monitor, definately go 16:10 vs 16:9, just so you can have your task bar not take up more area than 16:9, in case you want to edit video but don't want to use full screen mode
