Cool picture and interesting lighting.
What is all that fancy hardware and electronics? Some kind of line monitoring system?
Where is the "fisherman" in this "fishing" picture? Is it all automated, so he staye home in bed?

i like it, but think there's a bit too much foreground. i would have shot it higher to see more sky and less dirt!
Also, have you experimented with longer exposures? the sky is really clear and the stars are bright, you could keep it open longer and get some nice trails.

Would you believe the G6 was sat on a 2 pint maggot container, i couldnt make it higher to get rid of some of the foreground although i did want to :)

The lights are isotpoes and are not battery powered and bite alarms are older than Noah in the UK, the fisherman BTW was pressing the buttons on the camera, he wasnt in bed.

Very nice photo Alnath. The light, the fog over the water, the fish that bite the nail in the same time ( what fish ? well, this is the way I see that moment - in that moment a fish just starting to bite ! :) )
I would love to be there !
