I have a 28-135 IS lens mounted on my 10D. I have had it and the 10D for about a year and a half. I love this lens, never a problem, exellent focus. But, now it won't focus from 28 to around 70mm. The focus ring won't leave the "macro" range on the focus dial. This happens even on manual focus. Other lens do fine. I haven't read many other posts on this, and realize I will probably have to return it to Canon for repair. Anyone experience this?
I don't want to talk anyone out of buying this lens, because before now it has served me well, and would buy another one.

Thanks, Danny

Thanks Dante, just got off the phone with Canon repair. Will ship it back to them Tuesday, I'll have to make it through the Memorial Day weekend without it.:(

I really do love this lens!!
