Thoughts? Be kind, or not....just be honest.
ps, this was one of the easiest sites to set up for anyone looking to get a bludomain site.

I like it, but why do you have the "enter" page? seems redundant.

The ONLY reason to use a splash page is because he is using a 100% flash website and he needs some text so Google can find him. ;)

I'm also thinking about adding a blog as well to the splash page.
The worst is waiting for google to googlebot it....it could take weeks.

Great site. I would say that even though the suggestion page is great, it needs to be more simple or condensed a bit. I got lost about midway through. For portraits, also add for people not to wear tight ponytails before the shoot....it tends to crease the hair and is fairly obvious if you decide to let it down straight. I do like the site though. I am looking at Bludomain myself to start a little gallery for my friends and family.

Thanks for taking time to look and provide feedback....I struggled with whether to put the music in or not. I did not have any for the first few days and just turned it on yesterday. Personally, the more sites I visit, the more I am attracted to the ones with music....the viewer can turn it off at anytime or pick another song. The site is a reflection of me...I like the music....for me it adds to the site.

Thanks for looking and for the feedback....I have added a statement regarding wearing ponytails before a shoot. I'm looking at the wedding day tips now to see if what I can take out....again thanks.

Ok, a few points from me...
1) I'd drop the splash page. They are just an extra click to get to the site...pointless to give a viewer an extra step in navigation for no reason. I mean all a splash page requires is that that click enter...well...you run the risk there of either a visitor thinking, actually no I won't bother and never seeing your content, or making them click enter and moving to the site proper. So why not just have the site load up at the main home page.
2) I'd have the music off by default, I don't want to be forced to listen to music on page load up (I was talking on Skype at the time with headphones on and almost went deaf lol).
3) The galleries and various pages take a few seconds to load once the animation appears, with about a second of or so of black before you know it's loading something. It's not a huge deal but having to wait for every page to load is a bit frustrating. When I first tried to click between various galleries I thought it was broken as nothing was appearing on the screen at all.
Apart from the speed and those other couple of pointers though I enjoyed the site and the content :D

I like bludomain templates for their creativity and motion. I have a Flickr, and wish to create a professionel looking website, and use Bludomain. But, I would like to add links to Flickr in my website. Is it possible with Bludomain?

K-style and car 2n, your websites are really nice. I wish I will do the same work as you when I decide to use Blu domain or another one...
It essential for me to have a few links. I photograph events, like motor races, and take everybody on pictures. So I would like to put the best shots on my blu domain website under "Events", and put a link to Flickr (where I will put all the pictures). So everybody can look at their pictures and order it to me.
So, it's possible to do that with blu domain, right?

most bludomain templates have a shopping cart option, you can do what i did, set up a gallery in your feature section and put the pictures that you think people may want to hang on their wall....they also have a clients section where you can give a client a password and they can order the pictures from there.

I believe you can also set up the shopping cart directly to your paypal account as well.

i like it..
easy to navigate, i could turn the music off( which i didnt want to ) but just wanted to see how easy it was to do.. it took less than a 2 secs so no prob there.. i am with you, music adds to a site..adds to the feel you are trying to create.
good stuff.
only thing i would say is add some of your best shots straight up to blow the potential client away. I can see that your style is trying to tell the story of the day, but most people just want to be "WOWED!!"

Thanks for the quick demo! I just bought a bludomain site and it should be to my e-mail by tomorrow I suppose!
Do you just go in photoshop and create your own logo? I see it says 300 by 80 pixels. I have a really cool one but I used free brush downloads from online. Are these legal to use? They were free to download brush sets.

Good luck and have fun with your site set up. I found that even though mine site said the logo could be 80 x 300, I ended up going larger (maybe 125 by 350) anything more than that and it will not fit - it will overlap the photos.
