What are your opinions regarding the Arca Swiss ballhead:

Fort a little less money, and quite possibly a better ball head, I would at least consider the Markins M20:

It's a good head, and Arca Swiss is a good system, especially for larger lenses.

The various brands of large ball heads all have their devotees, and two other vendors that enjoy wide support are Kirk and RRS (Really Right Stuff). They also have a similarly sized ball head, as well as extensive lines of accesories.

I'm currently using both a Kirk and Acratech ball heads which are all Arca/Swiss compatible, and I'm well pleased with the quality. I've never seen an Arca/Swiss ball head up close, but I've heard good things about them.

Your signature shows an Arca Swiss head. Have you already got it?

I have this head and it certainly works well with your lens list -- including your wish list. I don't want to compare it with other heads, as it has already served me well.

No, I don't have it yet. I added it to my signature shortly after I ordered it. Can't wait for UPS to come tomorrow!
