Beginner forum?

Is it possible to create a forum specifically aimed at those that are beginning in SLR photography? I see this feature on many other forums and I think it's a good idea. Nobody likes asking "newbish" questions on a general forum with a majority of people knowing what they are talking about. Just a suggestion. :D

There's no problem in people asking "newb" questions in the general forum, we welcome it in fact. We also welcome people who read the "sticky" threads at the top of most sections where the answers to many of the "newb" sections can be found (as well as answers to questions you've not thought of yet).

The problem is with having a "Beginners" forum is that it's likely that only beginner users will stay there (and you may not get answers from more experienced people. We encourage people to jump right in and start asking questions in the relevant section.

Piggybacking on what Pete said, I've learned a great deal by reading responses regardless of the experience level of the person asking the question.
