Apart from a picture I took of a basket on my bedroom floor last night, these are the first shots with my 300D. CC is very welcome but be somewhat gentle. I cry easily. j/k
Settings are -
#1 SS 1/60; f/5.0, ISO 400, focal length 38mm
#2 SS 1/60; f/5.6, ISO 400, focal length 45mm
Curves adjusted slightly, contrast boosted a wee bit, and USM applied. Everything's going to be auto for awhile (I was playing though so I don't remember if those settings are auto or not) - I'm having a hard time retaining information on manual settings.
The first one looks a little soft around the edges of his face, I think. This one was focused between the eyes.
