Emily,
I like sunsets but not 5 pictures of the same sunset with just a slight difference in vantage point. Take the best out of your 4 galleries, do your utmost on editing, spend some time on presentation and you'll surprise yourself and us.
Good luck!

Emily,
I agree with Henk! After viewing your site, I also found too many similar photos. Your skys are nice, but picking the "best of the best" would be more interesting! I too love to shoot Sunrises-Sunsets-Skys. I may take 40-50 pics at one scenery moment, but only post 1-3 to my Webshots Portfolio.

These 24 pics were taken at "15" different sessions, maybe still too many pics for each moment in time. Anyway, I'm definitely just an amature and have a lot to learn!
Hope my .02 helps!!
Good Luck,
Ted

I may well be 3 times you age 1/3 your talent. I am a parent too.
You shots are beautiful. But you are only halfway there. Let me explain.
You see, on many nights when the susets are superb here in Ottawa, I find myself on the bus. I ache to be out with my G2. But then I what makes me mad is not the lack of camera, but the fact that I have not "scouted out" a great SUBJECT to complement the colored sky. Now some will say that the gorgeous clouds and color will suffice. I say ... "not so".
So Emily. I want you to visit a Canadiam member of this forum at http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3604#15603
Look at his photos, and in particular his red sunset in Algonquin Park. That one sunst image is worth 1000 golden skies.
Do not give up. If it was easy, we would all be posting similar shots. Think long and hard and walk and scout your options ... look to the west... be ready when Spring and Autumn fill the air...find a subject... be ready ... the light will be ready when you are.

I do realize that I have too many picture posted. Cant be too much fun to look at pictures that are the same. I will have to go back and part with some.
I am hoping for a short winter, and get to spring early... With my luck that wont happen.
Leighow thanks for the link, his photos are beautiful.
