Im planning to create my own website and want to consider smugmug. I dont know anything about web designing and I know a lot of you here are smugmug users so please help me understand the concept.
my goal is to post all my family gatherings photos in the site where they can view it and order prints. now my question is, how can i make profit off those photos if smugmug prints them and mail them out? is there any percentage that me and smugmug has to share?
in web designing, is there a template i can use and instructions how to post photos in the website? how about the fee, is it monthly or yearly?
lastly, other than smugmug, what are the other sites that has nice templates and "user friendly" type of thing? im sure there are lots of them. there's pbase, flickr, etc. but please help me decide. same concept where i can make money if my family members order prints.
