Here's a couple from the game today. Sadly, a Giant rally in the bottom of the ninth ended with the last batter swinging at what would have been ball four to load the bases.

The first shot is the starter Noah Lowrey. The second is of a new rookie, Jason Ellisson, who looks ready to take the field.

Thats what alot of batters say after facing #51!!

What, no pics of the 1st Place Padres? Show some love for a brother down south. I was gonna try to make it up to SBC park this year, but I don't know if I gonna make it. If we are still in the hunt come September, I might make the trip to get even with all the Giants fans I have to put up with down here.

nice pics. . . thanks for sharing.

I am assuming you used your 70-200? nobody gave you hard time about bring a "pro-looking" lens in? there have been a lot of discussions here about MLB parks not letting in lenses longer than 6-inches 'cause they are considered pro lenses.

Zach, you are entitled to crow a bit this year after suffering the last few. San Diego is the class of the Western Division. I like watching them, although Klesko didn't play the day I went. Unless the Giants figure out how to get batters out pretty quick (and get Barry back) it looks to be a long season.

Tevor Hoffman is awesome. Wish we had him instead of that old fat expensive injured guy they picked up this year.

Markubig-----Yes, it was the 70-200 with a 1.4 TC. I was a little worried about taking it to the park after reading the posts on this forum, but it was no problem. I almost left it at home so I could just enjoy the game with my kid without worrying about practicing this new obsession, but I'm glad I brought it after all.

Mark, I've taken my 100-400L into Petco Park down here in San Diego, never had any problems. In fact the more I look around now the more L glass I see in the stands.
