fantastic pictures. the rich blue background (wall) color really works well.
but just curious, why did you go as high as 1600 ISO? were the lights you used not powerful enough or did you just choose to make them not that powerful in regards to ambient lighting and whatnot?

Thanks! That blue is one of my favorite backdrops :)
I use natural light, and only flash for fill. Towards the end I had to crank it up to 1600 iso to keep the fast speed I wanted for a 1 yr old because it was getting dark outside. With the 5D Mark II it is easier to crank that up then worry about going all through my flash settings, and set up another flash, ya know!?


These are all so cute...just wish the cake in #3 was in focus.

These are wonderful!!! I have a 5d2 and I can't get my pics too look this good!!!
