Working on my MCAS Miramar air show pics right now...got a lot to go through...here's one of the Snowbirds flying in formation on Friday...C&C welcome.

I wouldn't say that... They just fly a different type of show than teams like the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds. The Canadair Tutor the Snowbirds fly produces something like 2800 pounds of thrust while one F/A-18 of the Blues produces more thrust than ALL nine of the Snowbirds together.
Because of the high performance aircraft flown by the Blues and Birds, they fly an entirely different type of demo. They showcase the abilities of the aircraft. I think a Tutor would be hard pressed to perform a high alpha pass like the F/A-18 can do...
I was at Miramar last weekend also, and the Snowbirds were exceptional. It's just a different show...
