Sure does ... a large number of coyotes have them in Yellowstone. The reintroduction of the wolves ten years ago impacted the coyote community like nothing else in their history. The coyote population is half of what it used to be before the wolves were brought back.

This is a good thing though. The wolves have had a cascade effect on the ecosystem. Cottonwoods are returning from being overgrazed by elk, fewer coyotes means more foxes ... etc.

If anyone is interested I have a paper I wrote for college on my website that covers the effects of the wolves reintroduction.
