Folks, I will be traveling for business to Turkey on Nov 1 and will be there for a week.
I am wondering whether there is anybody who has been there and can suggest what to photograph.
Thanks.

I was there for the Total Eclipse in 2006 and found it a fantastic place. I've posted some images here (http://imageevent.com/frankhollis/trips/turkey?n=0&z=4&c=4&x=1&m=24&w=0&p=0). The best place we visited was Termessos

with Perge a very close second.

If I were going again I'd make sure that those were the two places I definitely visited.

Is it somewhere in Antalya? I am particularly interested in the waterfall shots that you have - where it is?

Antalya is a coastal resort town.
It's been a few years since I visited and would love to go back. Turkey is fabulous, and mostly feels more European than Muslim. I think there are more Roman ruins in Turkey than there are in Rome, and most are in better condition. What part of Turkey?

To be honest, before the eclipse I was so tense that I didn't really take much notice. And after the eclipse that was all I could remember!
One of the waterfalls is on the edge of Antalya town (IIRC, it's towards the east). I've no idea where the other one is apart that it's in some large park. But the coach driver took us there. But a quick google of 'antalya timotei waterfall' tells me that it's called the Kursunlu Waterfall.
All of the locations are within 25km of Antalya and, I would imagine, are popular enough so that arranging trips to visit should be fairly easy.

I will be in Antalya and I want to plan one full day in a way that I will be able to take shots in the morning and during the sunset. I really want to be ready for glorious shots so I am checking with people here for tips and suggestions:-)

If you've only got the one day then I'd probably do Perge and the Kursunlu Waterfall Park in that order. The waterfall will be better (from what I can remember) during the day, as it's in a gorge and hidden from the sun in the early morning. Don't know when Perge opens, but that should be quite good in the morning. The waterfall on the edge of Antalya and Antalya old town itself should be good at sunset.
Why have I dismissed Termessos? Because it takes quite a bit of time to get there. Although it's quite close to Antalya, there's a bit of a walk before you get to the top. So it really would take up at least half a day. However, if you can find the time I'd really recommend it.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will plan something and I hope that the weather is going to be there:-)
