went to the Newcastle MG Car Club Hillclimb today and this was my first go at panning shots (thankgod for the 40D and 6.5 fps ) these were shot with a canon 40D with a 70-200mm f/4 L, 28-70mm f/2.8L and a 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS
so from 600 photos i managed to cut it down to 36 which are all on my website http://www.dmakphotography.com/Cars/Shannons-Mattara-Hillclimb

and here are some for the click lazy, remember this is my first attempt

8. Man these cars were low to the ground, you could hear the back spoiler scraping during the 2nd corner.

Spent Monday on the grass in the pinch, way to lazy to move.
I managed to drown first thing, then get sunburnt to add to it later.
