Great Ayton, Teeside - birth place of Captain Cook.
This is called Roseberry Topping and is situated just above Great Ayton and can be seen for miles around. I took the 6 1/2 walk yesterday and managed these two shots of the topping. A shame the weather was so windy and changeable!

Lovely photos David.
Add some horizontal rain to the first one and you've got our weather yesterday!
Not sure what that blue stuff is in the second one, I've got vague recollections of my Mum telling me about it once, many years ago, but you know how it is, memories fade with age
Glad you managed to get out with the dogs AND get some good shots. I'm not jealous - no really, I'm not. Honest
Best wishes
Trevor

Pretty scenes, but I guess you get lots of great weather and many such shots.
