I would drop the music because it makes loading the site slow. I didn't even see the photos, stopped it because of the loading time.

So I checked out the site...
What is the purpose of the website?
I also have one and the focus is a blog for my travels around Asia. The pictures are more snapshot's with a few of my best thrown in. When I move home in a monththe site will be revamped for a photography site dedicated to hosting my very best images, of which I would say I have 20 after thousands of shots.
The reason I mention this is your site lacks direction and only a few of the photos really catch the eye - the key chain on the pants for example...
What I suggest if you want this site to be geared towards photography is take off your dvd collection, and anything that takes the viewer away from the photos. After that I would stronlgy consider reducing the pictures on your site to the very best you have. Then, try thumbnails and smaller size images so you can easily see them on the screen...
Again just a view from someone who prefers direction and simplicity...
Cheers,

its called selective coloring
duplicate layer
then remove the color whichever way you chose to do so
then use the eraser tool to erase what you want to be color

Checked out your site. Doesn't look slow (but then I am using Cable ). Here is something that crossed my mind,
Bottom frame when I click Photography - The switchboard type layout may look better horizontally. Too much empty spaces on the two sides.
Also, Introduction - Lately I have been very "emphatuated" with black & white photography - Will that be 'infatuated' or am I missing something ?

I like your work. Very nice. I like the site in general, I know you'll work in the consistency as you grow.
