Good day for surfing, nice big waves on Saturday and Sunday. comments are welcome.

Those look like 3ft maybe 4 at the most in the 3rd photo! 1st photo is more like a
1-footer by Hawaiian Standards. Guess I'm just used to our MONSTER waves here!

I am sure you guys have much bigger waves. we had 5 to 6 foot waves that day, I guess the photos don't do them justice.

they do do them justice, those look 6 foot to me compared to the surfer. nice pictures.

Sweet shots Mate,
I live in Manly and we had tow in surfer off the bommie at Nth Steyne.
What lens do you use for surf shots...??
Some pro photographers were down recently with the 600L prime lenses.
Nice lens, but for $14K, bit out of my league.

Man, I don't recall every getting anything that even came close to resembling a tube at Bondi, when I lived in Sydney. Makes me wish I was there! Nice shots for sure!

The pics were take with a 70-200 2.8 IS +1.4X converter. atlest a 100% crop.
