Ahah, Golden-cheeked Warbler !

I know it is not a good shot, not even half decent, but just want to share this rare beauty with you. It is somewhat hard to find nowadays in my neck of the woods. I'll try to get a better shot when i see him again.

Not only is it hard to find but the last time I heard there were only about 25,000 breeding pairs not sure how they count them though, yes this is an endangered species and only breeds in this area of Texas the hill country area. The image looks like it suffers from lens shake here more then anything, but still nice to have even one image of this species.

Hey the pic may not be high quality but the documentation of the bird in this habitat maybe a valuable record, good job!

Thanks for the comment Eric, Paul! I met one adult male and two fledglings at Hamilton Pool, Texas 3 weeks ago. I wanted to go back there but didn't get a chance.

I should have used a tripod, bean bag or some sort but....... Paul, can i borrow your 100-400L IS? :D
