I was the same way... I wasnt going to get the h1n1 vaccine and now I dont think I will either. It honestly hasnt been anything that is life threatening for me. It has been weird - I've never felt this run down before, nor this achy.

And if we keep getting vaccines for all these illnesses, how will we ever build up any immunities?

Thanks, Mo. It was a fun wedding and the reception was lovely. It was pretty dark when I arrived, but two of my former students were playing the piano and violin on the deck. The Bride is one of the 10+ students I had the same age as my 21 year old, Dan. They are still great friends, the two flew from BYU to play at Lydia's reception. They sounded beautiful. Kimberly will see her name in lights in the next ten years, she is a composer and country singer. Lydia, the Bride, was so beautiful. They had peach, apple, apple and pear cobbler for dessert. :)

We are fine...Elaine and I went to the new Chick-fil-A at Route 50 & Fairfax Circle this morning for chicken & biscuits for breakfast. Then off to MicroCenter for a new WD 1T HD to store yet more photo files :)

Now I am watching Alabama v. Ole Miss and editing more photos from Lydia and Devon's wedding...

No probs. I sweated so much yesterday on that shoot and then in the evening, 85 degrees at 8 p.m., I am sending the whole outfit to the dry cleaners on Monday.

Bad news: I got a Charley Horse in my right leg 5 miles into the marathon and while I did finish in the time I slated, I was in tears and barely limping. Tonight I can still barely bear weight on the right leg....just broke down and took some real drugs.:(
I trained for that Marathon all summer and not once did I have a problem. I am so mad it happened today!!

Happy "Holiday" Monday! I just finished editing my wedding photos from 09/19/2009 (Carole and John) and I added in the awesome ones Suzie made for me at their reception! We ended up with 378 edited files for their DVD. They ought to find enough material in that bunch for several albums.

Today I have started on Lydia and Devon's files...easier task...only have to look at 380 files...I have done 25 "keepers; already.

Next wedding is at the Clark House on the 24th...Sarah & Patrick. Can't wait...beautiful couple and beautiful venue :)

Well. To make a looooooong story short, Skip and I spent 7 hours in the emergency room yesterday, went home at 9 pm and back at 3 am, home at 5:30 am. The first Doc thought he had a blood clot. Tests were negative. The second Doc said he had cellulites. Blood levels were normal and no fever. The 3rd Doc said he had some kind of allergic reaction.....

However, after 2 rounds of antibiotics, the leg does look better. He couldn't get admitted due to a bed shortage which is why we went back in the middle of the night for another round of antibiotics. Now we leave to go to Fresno in 45 minutes and see the actual surgeon who was in surgery all day and evening yesterday.

I HATE MEDICAL STUFF.

I was at the doctor today to get my neck checked - which has been sore and aching for 3 weeks (throat, muscles, bones - hard to swallow, etc). My doc thinks it might be a swollen thyroid, but she carefully avoided words like "cancer". I get a fresh round of hell tomorrow with blood tests and sonograms.

Misery loves company. Again, my thoughts are with you and Skip ;)

the only thing i have set as an action is the non-destructive dodge/burn and sharpen

i try and nail every exposure (or overexpose by a stop - for higher ISO shots)

He seems to think it was more an allergic reaction than cellulites but since it looks better this evening after the IV antibiotics, we are going that route.

Leesa, I hate bad haircuts! They are the worst! I had spiked hair for about 7 years, and about 1.5 years ago I decided to grow it out, it is just below my shoulders now, and I am so glad that I can just pull it into a ponytail once in a while!

This is why I won't cut my hair. I had a bad one, it looked good, but was uneven and layered so badly, I couldn't keep it up. Haven't cut mine for 6 months.

SO we have put some peroxide on that baby and going to make sure he keeps it on till it heals.

Hangnails are nothing! I've got toes . . . That's why my friend at the shop, Kim, takes care of me. She gave me flowers today on the big toe. If I didn't have Kim, I couldn't walk. But yes, soak the finger and keep it clean.
