Look how the wallabys blend in. Some smaller wallabys have a red tinge, while larger wallaby species have are mostly black & grey. Chameleons they are not, but they do blend in very well. I could have used a good WA here, but alas..

I used partial, there is a lot of contrast. 50mm NF 1/30 f7.6 ISO400
Its a hard photo to take properly I think.. or maybe my EOS 'L' plates are showing.:rolleyes:

That's a strange pose from the lower Wallaby, I've never seen one with the tail between the legs before. Weird! Maybe he/she didn't want the butt on the stony ground.

I have other pics of the 'weird' sitter. Here is a wallaby taking a drink.

I used the on-board flash. 10D. 1/200th. EC -1. f5.6

Now if I had the used a Sigma DG or the 580EX, would it have succeeded in exposing the high-key rocks in right foreground?
