I took this picture of my co-workers family this morining before she left for Africa on a medical mission. I would like to have a nice portrait ready when she returns in 3 weeks. I am looking for some help with post processing. I need to set the picture up to be printed 8x10 for sure and possbily bigger. I would also like to explore color, black and white, sepia, and selective coloring. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks for taking a look.

I think cropping helps, but the details seems to have gone in the inlargement. Maybe just crop it and leave it small.

Here's my shot at it. If you shot this in Raw you can do alot better fixing it.

The detail is gone because I am only working with an image that is less than 100k, to start with. With the original image, cropping and then enlarging should not be a problem in regards to losing detail.

My feeble attempt. Close to what Keiffer did. I just brought down the highlights a bit.

Thanks for woking with my photo and giving me some great ideas. I think I'm going to try sepia tone and orient the final print vertically. Thanks again everyone.
