Another shot from my trip to the Squam Lake Nature Center. These two Mountain Lions a.ka. Pumas a.ka. Cougars are in a den. I waited for an hour for them to emerge, but they never did. I also was shooting through a pane of glass. I'll be back!;)

Good shot under the circumstances. They are beautiful cats, but so often zoo animals just lie around inside their caves. Of course, the odds of seeing one of these in the wild are pretty long, and you'd never get a shot off if you did see one.
