Sad for the wedding, but you have to admit that in some places the camera work is so bad it makes you laugh. Like when they drop it in the church and he swears for a few seconds!! Absurd!

I want to know what they paid. And why they made the decision to go with this guy. I doubt they saw his other wedding videos and pictures.

wow. I wonder if they saw samples of his work prior to hiring.

Actually, the couple selected Bowers after visiting 11 wedding fairs.

His services cost £1,450.

That's £1,450 too much.

If feel t's actually £1,450 + the marginal cost of all this preparation and not hiring another photographer.

Damn, that's crazy. I cant believe he was picked after viewing 11 others. Plus that cost was absurd for the quality. Maybe they thought they were getting a bargain for the video and a photographer. The footage was hysterical.

"Look, its us in the limo. Oh wait, its empty".

Maybe he wasnt the photographer on the day and it was just his company?...Ive seen that happen here in Australia that another photographer appears on behalf of the contracted photographer/Company and says he is filling in because other photographer couldnt make it.

I had to laugh because it reminds me of my first wedding. A friend of the bride and I insisted on videotaping the wedding as a gift. He was also newly budded "pro" photographer.

He actually did manage to get a few minutes of us on the tape after running out of power, taking a while (during the ceremony) to find a new battery, and then spending most of the footage he did get by taping the singer (she had such a nice voice you see!).

Even better is that he later decided he was short on income and wanted to charge us for the travesty! No longer a friend after that!

Hell I'd make sure I'd had a 16GB Memory card in there and raw photo mode on with custom mode on, also I'd make sure I had a HD Record Mode on the camera.

And try my best at least to take a photos close to professional enough, that's why there's raw mode to allow for fixing the exposure levels.

What would be more interesting than the pics shown would be to see what was presented by him at the trade show....did he steal images? Maybe buy standard stock photos and use them?

There might be some fraud in there too!

I'm very sure he doesn't have the rights to that copyrighted music he's playing with his crummy flash animation, either.

This guy is just a plain retard and is going to drive himself into a gutter soon enough.

I'm afraid that this thread has, unfortunately, descended into the use of some misplaced rhetoric and some particularly nasty turns of phrase.

Sadly he only got off with 550 in damages which means he keeps £900
