Hi, I am thinking of getting the g11 to carry around. any comments on the, focusing, image quality etc.

I suppose it depends how baggy your jeans are :-D. From canon's site

No way it can go in your pocket. It doesn't seem to exist except in the virtual world.
We can call it the Phantom Camera, I guess.

s90 fits in normal pockets, the G series DOES NOT. Neither does the LX3 if you're counting.

have you seen the s90 yet? Sure the SDs are smaller, but this thing is SLIGHTYL wider than a deck of cards, more so SHORTER, then a tad thicker (but less than 2 decks). It's a very powerful P&S considering it's size...
