So far all the stuff I've shot has been small (friends band, small parties, etc) and I haven't had to worry about usage. I'm starting to pick up bigger gigs and I need to know how to effectively price myself.

Is there anywhere I can find information on how to properly quote/invoice a client? I'm not familiar with usage fees at all.

I'm also wondering if anybody has ever used 'Blinkbid' invoicing software? I'm thinking about purchasing it.

Thank you

Fotoquote is a good way to get an idea of what to charge for usage fees. I think it's 120.00 for download.

You can also join your local ASMP (portfolio required though) and they can help with that as well.

Haven't used that software.

Buy the book "Pricing Photography" off Amazon. There are some other books that deal with this, too.

I know Fotoquote is pretty accurate for usage for commercial applications.
