Hello,

Today we had some nice weather so I tried out the Rebel XT on manual mode working to get some family portraits while we were all in town.

The camera settings were the same for all pictures:

Manual; 1/60; F3.5; ISO 100; Sigma DG 500 Super Fill flash with -1 FEC

I'm working to limit the DOF by raising the f-stop. I wasn't as successful as I wanted to be but all in all I'm happy with most of the results. I'm posting the best. These do not have any PS processing...

Comments are welcomed

Nice photos. Nice smiles all around.
Next time, try to get Dad (GrandDad ?) loosened up for the picture; his smile looks a little strained. Then again, maybe his personality is more on the "reserved" side.:-)
Also, the group shot would have been better if Mom's foot hadn't been up.
Eh, if I had a nickel for every little detail I've overlooked in my own photos... LOL

Yea the Father/Grand Father wasn't feeling well. I do wish the Mother/Grand Mother has moved her foot....
