Anyhow ... Yes, I'd say this one is much better. Although, I think you pulled this one off because the eyes are shadowed. In actuality, I think the eyes are still OOF. Looks like it's back-focused a bit. But, it's less apparent in this particular shot.

That said. The composition is very nicely done and I like the expression. I'd say this one is the best out of the 3 that you have posted. :thumbsup:
