I am looking to update my site to make it a little more oommph. I bought and paid for a bludomain site, but the amount of unrestricted access to my server they wanted was worrying for me, and when I asked they simply zip the files to me, they refused for some stupid reason, even though I would be setting up the mysql etc myself. (I can provide email as proof)
To show you what I am looking around for, the site i bought was 'lucy' mainly for its concurrent flash and html option. I have bought and paid many people in the past (all indian!) but they have left me with a bitter taste since they simply wasted my time, promising they could do things that they never did. These were all sourced from places like elance and getacoder, but would prefer to look now for somebody who has a background in photos as you would know more what I need.
So now I am on the lookout for a good site design, and am willing to pay a fair price. Looking for pretty much all the features as on the bludomain 'lucy' site. Flash not imperative, but would like something that is not as clunky as my current site.
