What kind of info do you load into the camera? I've never even touched the CD that came with mine. What am I missing out on?

1. Load the EOS Solution Disk onto the PC that you are going to be using to access the camera.
2. It should load the EOS Utility and Digital Photo Professional. You definitely want to load EOS Utility FIRST.
3. Take your USB cable, plug one end into the camera (with the camera OFF), plug the other end into the PC, then turn the camera on.
4. EOS Utility should immediately detect your camera.
5. Select Camera Settings/Remote Shooting.
6. In the middle of the window you'll see four icons, three on one side. Click on the one marked like a hammer and wrench (it should turn yellow) and show your Set-Up information.
7. Click on Owner's name to change the owner and select OK.
8. Click on Author to change the author.
9. Click on Copy right notice to change that.
10. Close the application.

Memory serves me, 20D 5 yrs ago, there was info loaded to the camera and in particular, owners name which I am certain required the camera body to be plugged into a PC... I am guessing there is some form of Canon software (CD) to direct doing so and whatever other info may be relevent to any appropriate permanent info ...
