330D Autofocus

My 300D autofocus won't work! Press the button and it goes straight to one end of the focus range and stops. Same problem whatever lens is on the camera and whatever settings, auto or manual. It's not a lens problem. Any ideas?

try cleaning the camera lens contacts.

My 20D was doing the same thing. Sent it to the Canon service center, a week later and it worked fine.

I have the same problem on my 300D. It did it on my kit lens and my Sigma zoom. The camera is in the shop and should be back by the end of the week. Hopefully without the problem.
