Does this work? - its was a quick, hand-held shot ISO 200, 1/25 f4.5
It seems to be a little darker through conversion for the web than the original is, at least on my monitor.
Cheers
David

It's a beautiful image, David and works very well.
The subjects are nicely silhouetted and the reflection of the sky on the wet sand is gorgeous.
Personally, I don't think it's too dark.
BTW, is that Sam or Simba ?

Cameron, there's only one dog that continually gets into almost every photo I take - it's Sam!
I do wish Adobe would come up with a "Dog Cloning out Tool" would save a lot of hassle!
Thanks for the comments

In the words of the two Judges from the Muppets™...
"That's the worst photo I've ever seen!"
"It's terrible!"
"There are parts of it that aren't too bad"
"It's quite good"
"I think it's great"
"Fantastic!"
"Wonderful!!"
"Bravo!!!"
"WOOHOO!"

I'd probably lighten it up a little, tehn make make a horizontal triangular Layer Mask pointing to the right for the levels layer and darken it back down...
But then again, I am garbidz...

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
The image was more or less straight out of the camera - I only added a little saturation and adjusted the white balance. My main cause for concern was the darkness to the left and also, if the far child paddling in the sea was a little too distant and too obscured by the darkness to be of interest.
As for Sam, he gets into most of my shots - if I kneel to take a shot of a flower, his nose is normally in the corner of the image and has to be removed - if I lie down to take a landscape shot he'll walk past me and into the shot and go convienently deaf as he does so! But I still love him!:D
Thanks again for all your kind comments.
Regards
David
