birds in the wild is quite a challenge. So, I decided to photograph at my feeders. Even that turned out to be a challenge in itself. Those little guys and gals just don't set still long enough for an amatuer like me. These are a couple of shots I took just this morning. I thought the one with the downy woodpecker in flight was kinda cool. (I wish I had my camera set on the action setting for that one.) And the little goldfinchs are hard to photograph without the yellow appearing blown out.
These were taken with my 20D, which I am still trying to get the feel of. Lens was a Canon 75-300mm.
