Hello all,
I am new to this forum.
My wife and I are going to start shooting weddings this year digitaly.
My questions are:

Will the EOS-1D be good enough for weddings?

What should I expect in the way of maximum enlargement size?

We are debating Canon 1D or Nikon D1x at this point, Canon price came down $800.00. It is looking very appealing if it will produce what we need.

Any help would be appreciated.

1D is more than enough. With my 3mpix D30 is possible to enlarge at at least A4 size. You won't regret it!
Buy some decent lenses however, too many people use the cheapest lenses and that can lead to some dissappointments

Yes I use 1d for wedding and you can print fine up to Super A3 (more than double A4). Better lenses always help.
