E1 hand strap fits 1D MkII ?

Hi All,

The deed is done, order has been placed for the 1D MkII. Hooray !

Now, my 10D will becme my backup camera, but the handstrap on my 10D + grip. I assume that can be transferred to the 1D MkII when it arrives ? I hope so as it is just about run in now :)

As an aside, my 10D has just gone around the clock for a second time, 20,000 shots since September 2003. Hasn't missed a beat. :)

Yes, it will fit the 1D. It has an attachment point on the bottom of the camera, next to the tripod socket. Good luck with the new camera.
