i was bored last weekend so this idea came to my mind when i see the cd case (i dont know what exactly called it). i will take some pics tomorrow morning when i have the chance.

heres a sample shot for now, the beetle didnt give me lot of time to take a pics. for few mins of using this, ETTL mode on flash gave me a hard time, so i used manual flash in this shot, using 1/1 power so i can reach above 1/160 shutter speed.

Look cool, don't know if you get these out in the states, but having recently had a baby - we've used a nappy (diaper) disposal bin that keeps contents within it's own little pod - the cassettes that these wrappers come in may well be a great base for a ring flash..

Actually, I would consider it to be more of a photonic waveguide with a unidirectional distribution frame, and it saves money and time by not actually being an active device. You see, if it were an active device comprising an active element (e.g. reflector) then one may have to obtain DoD approval to operate such an active device... :cool:
