Just started editing a set... do you like this conversion? If not, what needs to be adjusted?

It's a little too bright for me. With that baby's cute round little face I would want some shadows showing off the curvy cheeks!

It's a bit too bright for me too. I also find the eyes a tiny bit over done.

Probably bring down your levels a bit, or your curve. He's more grayscale while the background is clearly B&W material.

b&w's are fun so I hope you dont mind my having a go at it. I think you can keep it light & keep the detail too, the bottom edit seems abit flat IMPO
I played around w/ curves, shadow/highlights, gamma & exposure, ... a few other things...

I like the second conversion a lot. Very nice!
