View Full Version : 1 way you probably never thought you'd see a 17-55 f2.8 I.S. (I think) being used.

You mean in a photoshop?
:p
This has been posted before I believe, and I think there's a real penholder version out there.

I wish someone actually made these for photogs. I'd buy one for each of my lenses.

a 17-55 mug would hold about 6oz?
I would probably need a 200mm f/2 mug judging from my daily coffee intake.

I have several of those exact mugs. The sell them at Caribou coffee here in the Great Plains states. Perhaps other places as well. Several colors.

I had the barrel of my 100-400 replaced a few months ago and was gutted to be told they'd binned the failed one. I was looking forward to building something similar...

If any of my lenses ever fail beyond at a point beyond repair, I'm making them into pen holders.
Either that or im going to find a broken EF lens going for a few pound and do it.
Honestly though, i think if someone was to do this as business (assuming no problems with design/ trademarks with Canon), they would probably sell thousands to Camera owners.
