This is an interesting old truck I found yesterday while driving through Utah with a friend. My friend said it looks like an old Dodge truck, and it appears to have been converted to a track type vehicle for use on snow.

It almost looks like a toy truck in second photo :-) Flashy red color, foreground rock & small distant tower all add up to it ... Or may be its just me, a bit dizzy after heavy lunch :-)

That sure is a Dodge truck, that conversion used to be fairly common apparantly and were carried on a bigger Dodge transporter, you'll find some pics on the Dodge Power Wagon forum. I have a 1970's relative of that truck, a W200 pick-up, the only one of that vintage in Australia I believe. Here is a pic!

Thanks bikerider, That's some interesting info. :D
About your Dodge, those things were built like TANKS! I had a friend that owned a Power Wagon 4X4 that looked a lot like yours. They are still fairly common over here, but dwindling away as old cars tend to do. :(

LOL, Yeah Marie, I suppose maybe the parking brake doesn't work? And if it rolled off of there, it just might end up in peices? ;)
Thanks for the replies.
