I have searched this site alot for a comparison of the tamrom 28-75 vs. sigma 24-70 vs. sigma 28-70 since they seem to be very similar, but can't find a real answer.
Does anyone have experience with these to say if one is clearly better than another? Quick to focus/sharpness/compatibilty with 20d... thanks all

Nice review, that Sigma 28-70 seems very nice, a little better in every comparison.
It has a better build, I know that......If the AF is any good, unlike the Tamron which is annoyingly slow, then I would say it's a winner. Mind you you loose out on 5 mm.

How is it in the real world? The Tamron is tried and tested, and loved by many. Then again, the sigma could be better.
