I made a thread with a list of qualities I wished a camera bag to have and this bag fits most, if not all, of them. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this bag? I noticed a review for the K3 and I've read some other reviews but, if anyone has any personal experience, I'd love to hear it.

Right now it's really between this and the Lowepro CompuRover. I'm also looking at Crumpler bags but I honestly don't need a whole backpack's worth of camera space and would really prefer some extra, non camera, storage.

Thanks.

i had this bag for about 5 months, and used it on 2 trips travelling to 5 different countries.

the pros:
It is the most comfortable camera backpack i have ever used. the suspension system, which seems gimmicky, really does work and helps greatly with ventilation.
the top compartment for stuff other than cameras and lenses is quite roomy and fits a surprising amount in there. I could fit all my chargers, several books, a bulky case for my noise-cancelling headphones, and a sweater in there without too many problems.

the cons:
the camera compartment, while roomy, wasn't very usable for me. I couldn't fit my gear in there in a way I was happy with. At the time, I was travelling with a 40D (gripped), 17-40, 50/1.8, and 24-105.
the bag is quite bulky and sticks out a fair bit. at first, i kept on knocking into things/people whenever I turned around with it on.
the bag does not fit in the overhead compartments of some airlines.

personally, after going through quite a few backpacks, I've settled on using my flipside 400 plus a small messenger notebook bag when I travel. Most airlines allow the main in-cabin bag PLUS a small notebook bag. the computer i use when I'm out and about is a macbook air, so it's already quite thin. I've got a very thin bag which is little more than a sleeve with handles on it.

If I need to integrate everything into the one bag, the lowepro fastpack i have is fine.

I did have the lowepro compuprimus for a while too. While it's quite good, it too was too bulky and dimensions are too big for some airlines.

Thanks! I am worried about the large size but my current school backpack is pretty large as is and I often really load it up so I don't know how much the larger size will bother me. What I am worried about is how inconvenient it might be to change gear but, as far as I can tell, there isn't a perfect backpack for my needs; the Naneu k4l seems to be the best compromise of everything.
